At the moment, we can Find Ourselves, in One of  8  Belief Categories. If we are seeking the truth, then we want to understand these Biblical truths from God's word (the Bible).

The table below gives us insight into how the major religions of the world relate to the 8 belief categories.

Category 1:  UNSAVED - - Those who call themselves "non-christians"
( excluding Judaism (Jews) (see Category 5 below) )

( including (ranked by size, beginning with the largest non-christian religion ):  Islam (Muslims), Secular / Nonreligious / Agnostic / Atheist, Hinduism, Chinese traditional religion (Confucianism, Taoism), Buddhism, primal-indigenous, African Traditional & Diasporic, Sikhism, Juche, Spiritism (Spiritualism), Baha'i (Bahaism), Jainism, Shinto (Shintoism), Cao Dai, Zoroastrianism, Tenrikyo, Neo-Paganism, Unitarian-Universalism, Rastafarianism, Scientology, ... )

Including those who have rejected Christ,
or those who have declined to personally ask Jesus Christ into their heart to be their Lord and Savior,
perhaps because they want to go on sinning:
(Joh 3:19 ... men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.)

These non-christian religions of the world are all "man" seeking "God" and "Salvation" in a Religion.

Christianity is God seeking man, with a risen Savior (God's son, Jesus Christ) who has paid for our sins, so He, God and Jesus Christ, can offer us salvation (a free gift, but one we have to accept, by personally asking Jesus Christ to be our Lord and Savior).

Category 2:  UNSAVED - - even though they call themselves "christians"

Because they have never personally asked Jesus Christ into their heart to be their Lord and Savior;
Jesus Christ says "I never knew you." Belief Observations:  Their beliefs may be mostly extra biblical (outside the Bible) denominational beliefs, rather than limited to the literal, New Testament Christianity, described and defined by God in the Bible.

Category 3:  "Christians" who LOOSE their SALVATION - - For lack of deeds

The "goats" on the left,  the unrighteous:

Category 4:  "Christians" who REJECT their SALVATION - -

Those who deliberately (willfully) go on SINNING.

Category 5:  Judaism:  Hebrews / Jews - -

Those who believe in Salvation from a future Messiah (who turns out to be Christ)

Category 6:  SAVED - - Born Again Christians, Baptized in the name of Jesus Christ,

that have not yet been filled with the Holy Spirit.

The Bible describes how one can be born again and baptized, but still not be filled with the Holy Spirit:  Those in this category, are sometimes described in the Bible as "babes in Christ." Belief Observations:  Mainly focused on the physical / worldly constraints realm. The following table provides some insight into denominational responses, on being Born-Again:

Category 7:  SAVED - - Born Again Christians, Baptized in the name of Jesus Christ,

that have received the Holy Spirit.

The Bible describes how receiving the Holy Spirit may be a totally separate, and later, event: Those in this category sense the power of, and experience the presence of, the Holy Spirit on a recurring basis.

Belief Observations:  Beliefs and faith are mainly focused on the spiritual realm, which has no physical / worldly constraints and limitations.

Category 8:  SAVED - - Born Again Christians, Baptized in the name of Jesus Christ,
that are filled with the Holy Spirit,

and are active with God's power
(with signs and wonders (manifestations of the Holy Spirit) following).

The Bible describes those who are focused on the spiritual realm, and active with God's power. Belief Observations:  Beliefs and faith are mainly focused on the spiritual realm, which has no physical / worldly constraints and limitations.
