When it comes to Bible chronology dating, we have been almost totally focused on Jesus' birth.  But, the most important event in Jesus' life here on Earth was his resurrection, not his birth.

It is true that in the Bible, the Old Testament text ends, and the New Testament text begins, with the birth of Jesus.

However, the Old Covenant (which Jesus lived under) extends until Jesus' resurrection, when the New Covenant begins.  We live under the New Covenant, which began with the resurrection.

Our salvation depends on this "most important event," and on being born again: asking Jesus Christ to be our Lord and Savior, risen at the resurrection in 30 AD.   ( see How to Spend Eternity in Heaven )

The chart below shows what happens when we place the 4,000 / 2,000 year split of Satan's 6,000 years, as prince of this world, right on Jesus' resurrection in 30 AD.   ( see Joh 12:31, 14:30, 16:11, Eph 2:2 )

4,000 years backward in time takes us to the "Fall of man."  Just as Adam and Eve were tempted in the Garden of Eden (Gen 3) in their early 30's by Satan, Jesus was also tempted in his early 30's, by Satan.   ( see Mat 4:1-11, Mar 1:12-13, Luk 3:23, Luk 4:1-13 )

2,000 years forward takes us to the spring of 2030 AD, with Satan having just been bound and cast into the bottomless pit for a 1,000 years.  Rev 20:1-3

          This 1,000 years is the millennial reign of Christ here on Earth, the 7th 1,000 years.  Rev 20:4-6

          Also, according to Hosea's 6:2 prophecy, this is the 3rd 1,000 years (the third day) since the resurrection.  ( also see 2Pe 3:8 )

The best candidate for Christ's return at Armageddon is Sep 10, 2029 AD (Elul 30*), which is the last day of the 7th-year release cycle (the Sabbatic year, Shemitah).   ( see Deu 15:1-18, Deu 31:10-11 )

"42 (30-day) months" (3.5 years, 1,260 days) before this Elul 30* date (*based on Jerusalem's crescent moon), is Nisan/Abib 10 (Monday, March 30, 2026), the day for choosing the "antichrist" as the world's "Passover lamb."  ( see Exo 12:1-5 ) ( This is analogous to Jesus being chosen on Palm Sunday. )

4 days later, the "just revealed (2Th 2:3) antichrist" may even receive a deadly wound on Nisan/Aviv 14 (on Passover, Friday, April 3, 2026), a wound that is subsequently healed (possibly on Sunday, April 5, 2026).  Notice the possible similarity here to Jesus' traditionally believed Friday crucifixion, and unquestioned Sunday resurrection.   ( see Exo 12:6, Rev 13:3, 12, 14 )

The Bible calls this "42 month" period the "Great Tribulation."   ( see Rev 7:14, Mat 24:21 )

7 years later, 2037 AD (beginning in the Fall of 2036 AD) is considered to be a Jubilee year, using a 49-year Jubilee cycle.  If Eze 39 refers to Armageddon, then the 7 years to burn the weapons in Eze 39:9 would be concluded just in time for the year of Jubilee.

Using this "Resurrection Dating" while assuming a 37 AD Resurrection.

The "con's" of this possibility, are that it shifts all dates associated with Jesus' lifetime to occurring 7 years later in history.  This likely eliminates a 37 AD resurrection from consideration.

The "pro's" of this possibility are that 2037 AD has all the same matching characteristics as 2030 AD (with Armageddon being shifted from the Fall of 2029 to the Fall of 2036).
Plus, 2037 AD is considered to be a Jubilee year, using a 49-year Jubilee cycle.
