Rev 12:1 And there appeared a great

stars:
Rev 12:2 And
she being with child [Jesus] cried, travailing in birth, and pained
to be delivered.

Rev 12:3 And
there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon
[Satan], having seven [ 7 ] heads and ten [ 10 ] horns,
and seven [ 7 ] crowns upon his heads. [see Rev

17:9, Rev 17:12 ]
Rev 12:4 And
his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven [angels?], and
did cast them to the earth:

stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour
her child [Jesus] as soon as it was born [Herod tried to
have Jesus killed].

Rev 12:5 And
she brought forth a man child [Jesus], who was to rule all nations
with a rod of iron [when He (Jesus Christ) returns at Armageddon
[Megiddo]; see Rev 19:15 ]:
^ and her child
[Jesus Christ] was caught up unto God [40 days after Jesus's
resurrection], and to his throne.

were given two [ 2 ] wings of a great eagle
[the USA?], that she might fly into the wilderness [desert],
into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times,

3 1/2 years (3.5 years)], from the face of the serpent [out
of Satan's reach].

the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood
after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the
flood.
Rev 12:16 And
the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth,
and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his
mouth. ^
